      Hon. Kian co-founded Lenders Technology, Inc. in September 1986 after serving as Vice President for Planning at American Express/Shearson. He served as Managing Director of Lenders Technology overseeing the firmís bank advisory services in risk monitoring, measurement and management for financial institutions from 1986 to 1993. Over the past 32 years, Lenders technology has employed over 300 professionals and has served hundreds of financial institutions with valuations and risk management advisory services for a full spectrum of loan portfolios. He left his position in 1993 to return to government service as a Commissioner of Economic Development for the State of California. In December 2000, he returned to the firm and was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He left his position as Chairman in 2006 to return to government services. Twice confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Hon. Kian has served three presidents of The United States. He is recognized globally as a senior executive in international security and global trade. From November 2016 to January 2017, he served as the Deputy Lead on the Landing Team for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on President Trumpís Transition Team. From 2006 to 2011, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Export-Import Bank of the United States and a Member of the White House Business Council under President George W. Bush and President Obama. His portfolio included 32 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, The Caucasus and Russia where he supported the export finance for over $70 billion of U.S. made goods and services. From 1993 to 2000, he served twice as an economic development commissioner for the State of California. In his role as the Director of Foreign Investment for the State, he oversaw the global operation of the Stateís offices for attraction, retention and expansion of Californiaís $86 billion portfolio. Under his direction, Californiaís portfolio of Foreign Investment grew to $92 billion resulting in tens of thousands of new jobs for California. From 2011 to 2017 he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer for GreenZone Systems Inc. where he led the companyís transformation from a start up to a Federal Government Contractor serving the Special Forces of the United States with State of the Art secure communications solutions. GreenZone was acquired by SAIFE, Inc. in 2017. A graduate of University of Brighton in 1979, he has continued his education at Harvard, Oxford and MIT. In 2009, Hon. Kian received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, an award given for exceptional achievement to Americans with immigrant ancestors including seven presidents of the United States. He is a Fellow at Royal Society of Arts in the United Kingdom. In academia, he has served as a Senior Fellow at the United States Naval Postgraduate School (2011-2013) as well as a Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at the National Defense University. He has lectured at Georgetown University, George Washington University, University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University in Canada. Hon Kian served as a member of the Board of Directors of National Defense University Foundation from 2015 to 2017. In 2010, he co-founded The Nowruz Commission, A global public diplomacy, non-profit entity with 21 countries and communities on its roster.
